Lemon Myrtle Soap

Post by Katy on Sat Oct 01, 2011 4:27 pm

This year when we went to the EKKA this week and I bought some lemon myrtle products from a stall. I got shampoo & conditioner, lip balm, moisturiser and soap.

This was the winner. It's part of a range called Australian Rainforest Aromatherapy Soaps and is a goat's milk soap with pure lemon myrtle oil added. This is a gorgeous soap. It's really soft and smooth - a bit like dove soap, but it has the beautiful smell of lemon myrtle. They have other soaps, but this one is the best. It's plain cream in colour and really creamy and lathers up with very small bubbles.

You can buy it individually or in packs, but personally, I'd buy a pack. Put in in the master ensuite and give the kids the Aldi soap. You could put it in your dresser drawers to make your clothes smell nice as well. It's really smooth and smells gorgeous.

Using this has made be want to try making it myself when my goats kid in a few months.

Now - what NOT to buy. They had shampoo and condition. This was a total FAIL. Yuk, yuk, yuk. The colour was orange and it was really heavy. After using it my hair had that half conditioned feel that you get from using hotel
